a. Do I need to pay to use Hacienda.co.uk?

Hacienda.co.uk is completely free! Look at any properties in any location to your heart’s desire!

b. Can I search anywhere in the UK?

Yes. Hacienda.co.uk searches the entire United Kingdom.

c. Do you show every available property in an area?

Unfortunately not yet. We have a great many estate agents working with us – but not all – yet!! If we don’t have any properties in your area yet you can register with us and we’ll send you an email when we have properties matching your criteria available.

d. Why can’t I see all the information on some properties?

Hacienda.co.uk is dependent on information provided by the estate agents. Sometimes it may take a little longer than expected before an estate agent has the full details of a new property. Keep checking for updated information as this can change hourly as new information is provided to us.

2. How to use Hacienda.co.uk

a. Do I need to register with Hacienda.co.uk?

You do not need to register to conduct basic searches or view individual properties using our mapping technology, but if you wish to connect with the estate or rental agent handling the property using our “Contact Agent” option, you need to register with Hacienda.co.uk. You can do that by clicking here.

b. How do I search?

We’ve worked hard to make the search system as comprehensive as possible, we’ve included cities, towns, villages, wards, post codes, and lots more so that your search is more likely to be spot on the area you’re interested in.

c. Can I search for schools

We’ve over 60,000 primary, secondary and specialist schools in our databases. Just enter the start of the school name in the search box and we’ll show you a list of schools which match your query, and then we’ll show you a map centred on the school with the properties for sale or rent nearby highlighted.

d. Can I search for tube stations, train stations, airports or other transport nodes?

Our database includes all the Network Rail train stations, the London Underground stations, main UK airports and many other transport nodes. Type the name of the station in the search box and we’ll show you a list of matches from our database, and then a map centred on that location.

e. How do I save my searches?

This feature is coming soon.

f. What do I do if I can’t find an area / school / train station / road?

Our search engine does cover the whole of the UK, but if you can’t find you location please check that the spelling or address is correct. If you still cannot find you location please email us: missinglocation@Hacienda.co.uk and we’ll find out the details and add it to our database so everyone can benefit.

g. I’ve located a house - How do I get more information?

Simply click on and follow the instructions. We will guide you though it!

h. I’ve seen the house I want! How do I arrange a viewing?

Click on next to the property you’ve seen and we’ll forward your enquiry to the agent who will contact you.

i. Can I forward someone a property from Hacienda.co.uk?

Of course! We know how important it is to share information so we’ve made this very easy using the ‘Send to Friend’ button located next to each property.

j. How do I cancel my registration?

Email remove@Hacienda.co.uk from your registered email address and you will be removed. We respect your privacy, and any accounts inactive for 12 months will be automatically removed.

We take your privacy very seriously. We do not sell or give your information to any third parties. All of the estate agents on our service agree to handle any data with the upmost care and diligence, and only for the purpose you intend it for.
